Six new cases of COVID-19 have been reported on Hawaii Island, according to the latest tallies from the state Department of Health.

That brings the total number of Big Island cases to 736 since the start of the pandemic.

The DOH reported 108 new cases statewide today, and three additional COVID-related deaths, bringing the death toll to 139.
