Hawaii County Civil Defense this morning reported another coronavirus-related death at Hilo Medical Center of a resident of Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home.

That brings the COVID-19 death total on the Big Island to 16, with 15 related to the outbreak at the veterans home.

According to Civil Defense, the state Department of Health reported four new active Big Island cases being monitored by DOH.

There are two drive-up coronavirus testing sites today. One is at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium at Hilo, from 9 a.m.-1 -.m.. For access, please use Kuawa Street. The other is at the Keauhou Shopping Center in Kona, from 9 a.m.-noon.

Testing is also scheduled for Thursday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Ocean View Community Center in Ka‘u.
