Marc Hadzor Bartlett, 71, of Kurtistown died June 30 in Hilo. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran, employed at Inter-Island Resorts, worked for two veterinarians and was a self-employed roofer and landscaper. Services at a later date. Agrifino D. “Boogie” Coloma Jr., 69, of Papaikou died Aug. 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a security guard and member of the Living Waters Assembly of God in Honomu. Richard “Dick” Shelley Darling, 86, of Keaau died Aug. 19 at home. Born in Binghamton, N.Y., he was a retired electronics technician for IBM, U.S. Army veteran, member of Hilo United Methodist Church, ham radio operator for 67 years and recipient of the 2016 International Humanitarian Award for work done for the Federated States of Micronesia. Survived by wife, Barbara Darling of Keaau; daughter, Barbara (Steve) Naslund of Salinas, Calif.; son, Richard (Ria) Darling of Stafford, Va.; stepdaughter, Judith Delbene of Lake City, Fla.; stepsons, Michael Robbins of Dennison, Texas, and David Robbins of Peru, Mass.; brother, Kenneth Darling of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Nancy Darling of Jacksonville, Fla.; a grandson; nieces, nephews, hanai family and other ohana. Hazel Sayoko Fujimoto, 91, of Hilo died Aug. 8 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Papaikou, she was a clerk and stenographer with the state of Hawaii vocational rehabilitation, member of the Hilo Meishion Mission Kyodan and Fujinkai and Urenseke Tea Ceremony participant.
