Lynda Dela Rosa, 76, of Kailua-Kona died June 24 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a retired housekeeper at the King Kamehameha Hotel, former Keauhou Beach Hotel and Royal Seacliff, and member of Ilocano Ancestry Club. All-night vigil starting 5 p.m. Friday, July 10, at her home at 74-5060 Kealapua St. in Kailua-Kona. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Kona Outdoor Circle. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Casual attire. Survived by son, Lyndon Dela Rosa of Kailua-Kona; brother, Benito (Ludina) Castillo of Waipahu, Oahu; sisters, Cris (Deo) Santiago of San Diego, Ninita (Rey) Labo of the Philippines and Milagros (Pedro) Tungpalan of Kailua-Kona; nieces, nephews and cousins. Debra Lee “Ma Deb” Fronda, 64, of Hilo died June 23 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at Dodo Mortuary chapel. Thelma Lavern Martin, 87, of Hilo, formerly of Honokaa, died May 25 at Legacy Hilo Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Kalopa, she was a retired cashier for the former Sure Save Supermarkets and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa and Hawaii County Elderly Activities Honokaa Senior Center. Private services held. Survived by daughter, Yolanda Faith M. Keehne of Hilo; sons, Roger Raleigh (Joyce Cale) Martin of Glenwood and Tommy Gerard Martin of Honokaa; brother, Harold Camara of Sacramento, Calif.; sister, Betty Jose of Honokaa; sister-in-law, Vivian Kubo of Hilo; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Deborah Mae Shelton, 63, of Keaau died June 25 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was a born-again Christian, member of Church on a Sure Foundation Puna and worked at Head Start and Walmart. Elsa Armas Vidal, 49, of Keaau died June 30 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a yard worker for Puna Certified Nursery and member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Spanish Congregation in Kona. No services.
