Anthony James Badon, 75, of Kawaihae died April 27 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. He was born in Pepeekeo. Celebration of life at a later date. Survived by wife, Colleen Badon of Kawaihae; sons, Ronnie (Katie) Vesperas of Oahu, Tony (Marycel) Badon of Waikoloa, Dori Vesperas of Las Vegas and Chad (Ti) Badon of Waimea; daughters, Toni Ann (David) Souza of Oahu and Sara Badon of Waimea; stepdaughters, Jannie K. Perreira of Kawaihae and Jeanise K. Miller of Waimea; sisters, Alvera Casequit of Pepeekeo, Claudette (Lary) Moreno of Hilo and Melanie Kagawa of Waimea; brothers, Guy (Sabrina) Badon and Wallace Badon of Orchidland Estates, Alan (Agnes) Kagawa of Kona; nieces and nephews. Sieglinde “Cindy” Jacobs, 75, of Kailua-Kona died June 4 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Austria, she was a certified nurse’s assistant. Private services. Survived by son, Douglas Kupihea of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Carmen (Lloyd) Mills of Kailua-Kona, Alfriede (Dave) Eldridge of Arizona and Edwina (Steve) Webster of Temecula, Calif.; three nephews and two nieces. Anthony “Tony” Stevens Nesser Jr., 84, of Waikoloa died June 17 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Minneapolis, he was the original owner and operator of Pot Belli Deli, member of Kona Elks Lodge and a U.S. Navy veteran. Service information at a later date. Survived by children, Deborah (Greg) Skyberg, Brenda (Brad) Bunes and John (Brigitte) Nesser of Minnesota, Mark (Joanne) Nesser of Oregon, Thomas Nesser of Waikoloa; siblings, Marlys (Arthur) Godfrey of Minnesota, Dan Nesser of New Mexico and Karin (Wayne) Dean of Wisconsin; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lawrence Romaine Young Jr., 90, of Hilo died June 21 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born in Seattle, he was retired and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Private services pending. No known survivors. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
