Julie Ann Kong, 57, of Honolulu died April 30 at Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she was retired from Safeway. Private celebration of life at a later date, and she will be put to rest with her father, Albert Vierra, in Hilo. Condolences to: Kevin Kong, 1049 Wong Lane, Honolulu, HI 96817. Irene Rabanzo Riambon, 82, of Hilo died May 29 at home. Born in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a horticulturist and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Wake service 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at the Gardner residence. Face masks and social distancing required. Mass at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Survived by husband, Ceferino Riambon of Hilo; daughters, Vangie (Gary) Gardner, Rosejean (Robert) Villahermoza, Maribel (Noel) Castro and Thelma (Efren) Nicolas of Hilo, Ederline (Delfin) Paet of the Philippines; brother, Simeon (Nenita) Rabanzo of the Philippines; sister, Norma Rabanzo of Kona; sister-in-law, Ida Rabanzo of Hilo; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The late Vicente Lumabao Felipe is survived by, among others, daughter, Jamie (Adam) Veloria of Ainaloa, and daughter-in-law, Tessie Felipe of Honolulu. Their names were submitted with incorrect spellings for an obituary published Tuesday.
