Allie S. Forbes, 89, of Hilo died April 8 at home. Born in Cleveland, she was a graduate of the University of Michigan, a retired secretary for Hamakua Sugar Company, worked at Kamehameha Schools and the County of Hawaii, and was a member of the Hilo United Methodist Church. No services held. Survived by children, Kim (Diana) Lorch of Las Vegas, Robin Yoko Racoma of Kurtistown, Wendy (Rick) Turk of Eureka Calif., and Kerry Lorch of Redwood City, Calif. from her first marriage, and Lee Ann (Gayland) Wohlgemuth of Anchorage, Alaska, and Jeannie (Rob) Hanson of Auburn, Wash. from her second marriage; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Siham Yusuf Tamimi is survived by husband Yusuf Tamimi; sons, Nimr (Shannon) Tamimi of Hilo and Malik Tamimi of San Diego; daughter Laila (Sharif) Jayyousi of Hawaiian Paradise Park; and 3 grandchildren. An obituary published Friday omitted the surviving family members. The Tribune-Herald regrets the error.
