Marilyn Mae De Costa, 72, of Hilo died March 30 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a former Realtor for Brilhante and Jan Mahuna and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Private services held. Survived by husband, Rey De Costa of Hilo; daughters, Sharlene De Costa-Sutton of Kona, Rayanne Lum, Kimberly (Kevin) Hill and Kellcey (Rex) Ribao of Hilo; son, Nicholas (Brandi) Ah Yo II of Hilo; brother, Joe De Sa of Oahu; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Clifford Preston Marler, 58, of Hilo died March 15 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. He was born in San Diego. Services at a later date. Richard Herrick Noble, 86, of Hawi died April 15 at home. Born in Huron, S.D., he was a retired switching technician for the former Hawaiian Telephone Co., member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi and a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. Survived by wife, Roseline Noble of Hawi; sons, Bill (Carol) Noble of Kailua-Kona and Derek (Joanne) Noble of Hilo; daughter, Barbara (James) Lincoln of Hawi; sister, Kay Gregg of South Dakota; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
