Davelyn Healani Kauhi, 69, of Hilo died April 7 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a former sales clerk for Ross Dress for Less, public school health aide for the Department of Education and member of Community of Christ Church in Hilo. Rose C. Obina, 93, of Kapaau died Feb. 28 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born in Pahoa, she was a retired nursery worker at Kohala Nursery, cook for the former Luke’s Restaurant in Hawi, dental assistant, seamstress and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi.
