Larry Dean Boot, 79, of Kailua-Kona died March 7 at home. Born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, he was a retired business owner of Economy Motors and Courtesy Jewelers in Hilo, Eelskin Outlet, Eelskin Liquidators, Kona Discount Mart, Tropical Tees and Big Island Cycle Center in Kona, member of Kona Elks Lodge No. 2616 and Foresters Court Mauna Kea No. 8854, Mason and Shriner of Kona Lodge F & A M Hawaii and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Service information to be announced at a later date. No flowers. Memorial donations to Hospice of Kona, P.O. Box 4130, Kailua-Kona, HI 96745. Survived by wife, Muriel Boot of Kailua-Kona; sons, Shawn (Jody) Boudreau of Kailua-Kona and Damian Baring of Hilo; brother, Donald (Jadene) Boot of Florida; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Tinson Kun Luey, 39, of Des Moines, Wash., died March 4 at Harbor View Medical Center in Washington. Born in Pipi, Melem, Kosrae, he was a night auditor. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Friday, March 27, at Kona Outdoor Circle on Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona. Funeral at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery. Survived by wife, Megan Luey of Des Moines, Wash.; daughter, Mary Auslynn Luey of Des Moines, Wash.; son, Henrick Luey of Des Moines, Wash. Anna Lei Mills, 88, of Kapaau died Feb. 24 at home. Born in Puuanahulu, she was a retired waitress for the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Kohala. Private services held. Celebration of life luncheon 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday (March 21) at her home, 53-4192 Akoni Pule Highway. Casual attire. Survived by daughter, LaVanda I. (Richard) Salas of Papaikou; sons, Lester C. Mills and Curtis Mills of Kohala; sisters, Helen P. Sing and Rose Coit of Kohala; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
