Uriah Dombrowski, 39, of Naalehu died Feb. 17 at Ka‘u Hospital. Born in California, he owned and operated a landscaping construction business in Hawaii and on the mainland. Private family services held. Survived by wife, Brieann Dombrowski; father, Anthony Dombrowski; mother, Connie Close; brothers Lila Dombrowski and Gita Dombrowski; sister, Elizabeth Unti; grandfather, Ruben Catlin; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Marie Isabel Fresques, 95, of Hilo died Feb. 17 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Colorado, she was a retired state unemployment administrator and U.S. Women’s Army Corps veteran. Urn committal service with military honors noon Friday, March 13, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Iwao Nakamura, 87, of Hilo died Jan. 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired welder for the California Department of Transportation and U.S. Army veteran. Private services held. Richard Michio Niimi, 75, of Mountain View died Feb. 16 at home. Born in Mountain View, he was a retired co-owner for Hawaiian Flower Exports, skills trainer for The Institute for Family Enrichment, U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division Dominican Republic Conflict veteran and member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and Disabled American Veterans. Tiffini Devonshire Pangilinan, 37, of Everett, Wash., formerly of Pahoa, died Feb. 25 at Swedish Medical Center-Cherry Hill Hospital in Seattle.
