Patrick Joseph Andrade, 72, of Pahala died Jan. 27 at home. Born in Pahala, he was a retired superintendent for the former Ka‘u Agribusiness Co., U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division “Tropic Lightning” Vietnam War veteran and member of Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. No services. Survived by wife, Charlene C. Andrade of Pahala; daughters, Shelby Gascon of Pahala and Cindy (Kevin) Veloria of Hilo; brother, Edward (Judy) Andrade of Pahala; sisters, Dorothy Louis and Mary (Alfred) Ibarra of Pahala; three grandchildren and a great-grandson. Louisa Ferreira, 94, of Hilo died Jan. 17 at home. Born in Papa, South Kona, she was a homemaker. Private services held. Kiyono “Kay” Goya, 96, of Hilo died Jan. 12 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Kaiwiki, she was a homemaker, retired owner of the former Goya Farms, member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and Upper Kaumana Kumiai. Private services held. Lucy “Teri” “Luka” Mailelani Keahi, 74, of Hilo died Jan. 20 at Hilo Medical Center, Born in Koolauloa, Oahu; she worked for Blanes Drive Inn in Hilo and was a member of The Gospel of Alpha and Omega Church. Memorial services 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 at The Church of Alpha and Omega Church in Hilo. Casual attire. Nolan Michael Remmers, 70, of Keaau died Jan. 22 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired collections manager for HFS Federal Credit Union, U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran and member of Kuhio Chapel in Keaukaha Ancient Order of Foresters Court Mauna Kea No. 8854.
