Faustina “Tina” (Salboro) Acirbo, 89, of Papaikou died Dec. 5 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Laupahoehoe, she was a housewife and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Laupahoehoe. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Friday, (Dec. 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by sons, Thomas Acirbo and Francis Acirbo of Papaikou; daughters, Veronica Acirbo of Papaikou and Stella (Marvin) Cabatic of Hilo; sister-in-law, Carmen Salboro of Hilo; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Terry Delfin Jr., 73, of Montclair, Calif., formerly of Hilo, died July 23 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a gas station attendant at a California Costco and U.S. Army Vietnam War era veteran. Committal service noon Friday, Dec. 27, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Survived by wife, Tania Delfin of Hilo; children, Tanya (Duane) Santa Isabel of Keaau, Lei (Shayne) Arruda of Hilo, Justin (Nicole) Santa Isabel of Keaau, Terrilyn-Ann (Alfred) Yanos, Trudi (Michelle) Delfin, Tricia-Mei (Bryant) Mira and Rusty-Jay Arruda of Hilo; brothers, Dennis (Rose) Delfin of Hilo and Larry (Annette) Delfin of California; sister, Gina (Henry) Cardines of California; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Toshio Nakamura, 94, of Mountain View died Nov. 10 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Mountain View, he was retired from Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and member of Puna Hongwanji Mission and various golf clubs. Louis “Lou Boy” Pacheco Jr., 77, of Hilo died Nov. 17, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired heavy equipment operator and cane truck driver for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 28, 2019) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; Celebration of Life at 4 p.m. Casual attire and no flowers.
