At the request of Maui Mayor Michael Victorino, Gov. David Ige has ordered the U.S. flag and Hawaii state flag be flown at half-staff at the state Capitol and all state offices and agencies as well and Hawaii National Guard on Sunday, Oct. 13, and Friday, Oct. 18, until sunset.
These are the dates of the services for former Maui County Council Chairman Danny Mateo, who died Sept. 24, at age 68.
