Hawaii Island Adult Care Center will hold its first-ever Caregiver Conference, “Caring for Our Caregivers,” from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9. There is no charge to attend this event.

Registration is at 8 a.m., with continental breakfast and lunch provided. The conference will feature five guest presenters who will share a plethora of information regarding dementia/Alzheimer’s, coping with stress and frustration as a caregiver and more.

Elder caregiving is recognized as a key element of everyday life for families in Hawaii. Hawaii Island Adult Care Center, Inc., provides a day care option to families as they transition into the role of primary caregiver for their loved ones. Learn how HIAC can help you take care of yourself.

The conference will be held at HIAC, 561 Kupuna Street, Hilo, located below the new senior living complex, at the intersection of Komohana and Mohouli streets.
