College of Pharmacy’s 11th annual health fair brings community together

The University of Hawaii at Hilo Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy will present its 11th annual Health Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Prince Kuhio Plaza in Hilo.

The Health Fair is the College of Pharmacy’s largest community outreach event.

Members of the public are invited to visit educational health care booths and obtain health screenings, including HIV, blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index tests. Vaccinations for influenza, mumps, measles, rubella, shingles and much more will be provided by CVS Pharmacy. There also will be booths throughout the mall featuring community organizations, live demonstrations, entertainment and prizes.
