The state Department of Public Safety said Tuesday Hale Nani Reintegration Center inmate Bryce Feary failed to return from a furlough pass. Feary was scheduled to return by 2 p.m.
Feary is now wanted for escape and Hawaii County Police were notified.
The 34-year-old Feary, a community custody inmate in the work furlough program with pass privileges, was convicted of first-degree burglary. He’s described as 5-foot-11-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Feary’s whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
