Police say a tip led to a Hilo man wanted for four years on warrants issued by Hawaii Island Drug Court.
Officers found 36-year-old Christopher Igawa-Silva in a vehicle on Stainback Highway with 24-year-old Destanyie Calicdan of Hilo. Police say they saw hypodermic needles that tested positive for heroin and arrested Calicdan.
Igawa-Silva was charged with third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, drug paraphernalia and three probation violations, Bail set at $10,000.
Calicdan was also charged with third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and drug paraphernalia. Her bail set at $2,000.
