Dave Naponolani Kaawa, 67, of Naalehu died Sept. 12 at home. Born in South Kona, he was a fencing foreman for Kahuku Ranch and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ka‘u Ward. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ka‘u Ward in Naalehu. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Naalehu County Cemetery. Luncheon afterward at the family’s home, 94-6719 Mamalahoa Highway, in Naalehu. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Milton Pumehana Kaupu, 55, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 27 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Ka‘u, he was a former security guard for Jan Guard Security and NAH Security. Clyde Hatsuyoshi Kobayashi, 66, of Kealakekua died Aug. 14 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born in North Kona, he was a store clerk at Kona Coast Office Supply, projection manager at Regal Cinemas and member of Toho No Hikari Church and Mokichi Okada Association Hawaii. Corinne Ichiko Tsue, 67, of Hilo died Aug. 30 at Hilo Medical Center.
