Hawaii Island Humane Society will host its first ever kitten yoga event this weekend, featuring adorable, adoptable kittens.
A one-hour yoga basics class for individuals 16 or older, or 12 and older when accompanied by an adult, is slated from1-2 p.m., and a half-hour family fun class for families with children ages 3 and older is from 2:30-3 p.m. Saturday at Yoga Centered, 37 Waianuenue Ave. in Hilo.
Kittens will be in the yoga room while classes are underway.
Cost is $25 per person for the yoga basics class, and $25 per parent/child duo for the family fun class plus $10 for each additional child participant.
All fees go to the Hawaii Island Humane Society.
Advanced registration is recommended. Space is limited and only a few spots remain.
