UH-Hilo interim volleyball coach Chris Leonard mentioned Jessee as a name to watch in regard to Pacific West Conference postseason selections, and the middle blocker certainly got her junior campaign off to a strong start.

The 6-foot-3 Alaska native notched a league-best 17 blocks in the Vulcans’ 3-1 start last weekend, and she also posted 28 kills, a .377 attack percentage and eight aces. Her best match came Saturday in a win against West Virginia State – Jessee went for 10 kills (.529 hitting), nine blocks and four aces.
