9-11 not in vain
Twin towers high against the sky, majestic and so proud
A symbol of the USA, success! It rang out loud.
But one dark day, the evil came, destroying in its path
The towers fell, the people too, Bin Laden showed his wrath.
Our country grieves, our hearts were broken, so many heroes gone
Policemen, firemen, loved ones, all; in hearts they will live on.
But even in this solemn hour, our nation will not cower
For patriotism and unity will just add to our power.
So please remember in your heart, lost lives were not in vain
Our nation came together, all joined as one in pain.
And from this pain, grows strong and true, our patriotism strong
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT — THE USA LIVES ON!

Lock ’em up
If those protesters think Maunakea is sacred and they can block the access, when will they start claiming the whole island is sacred and start blocking the airports and harbors so no commerce can go in and out? Are we giving in to their form of dictatorship?
If the protesters are so anti-science, why don’t they ride their horses up to the mountain? Better yet, why not walk?
Instead, they use stolen cars. They drove illegal trucks with bling, big tires and loud music. In short, they are more like criminal elements stirring up trouble than people fighting for a cause.
It is time to put a stop to this. They are nothing but a bunch of damn criminals making trouble. Arrest them all, and lock them up forever. They are not productive members of society.

The ugly side
The Thirty Meter Telescope people always said they would go to the Canary Islands if things didn’t work out in Hawaii. Well, things really did not work out, but now they won’t leave.
They run ads in the paper and on television. Kupuna are handcuffed to block the telescope up on Maunakea.
This is the ugly side of modern science. Like Columbus in 1492, TMT wants to discover new worlds with little concern for indigenous people.
