Sherrie Miyuki Hokomoto Berido, 50, of Hilo died Aug. 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was an invoice clerk for Hilo Walmart and former sales associate for Kona Walmart. William Lee Duff, 71, of Pahoa died July 5 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Los Angeles, he was a retired Realtor and bon vivant. Born in Hilo, he was the retired owner of the former J&J Auto Repairs, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and member of Higashi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, Hilo Y’s Men and Women’s Club, Big Island Automotive Trades Association, Born Losers Golf Club and Boogieman Golf Club. Kenneth Yoshiyuki “Yoshi” Horio, 83, of Hilo died Aug. 22 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. The late David Felicisemo Maikai “D” Arciga, a retired hairdresser and florist, is survived by, among others, hanai brother, Doroteo “Bobo” (Vanessa) Alonzo of Oregon. Incomplete information was submitted for an obituary published Friday.
