In an ongoing effort to provide assistance to local nonprofit organizations serving Hawaii Island, Ohana Fuels will donate a portion of its second quarter gasoline sales to Hawaii Island Adult Care.

From April-June, every gallon of gas sold at all Hawaii Island Ohana Fuels locations benefited HIAC.

“We are truly grateful for Ohana Fuels’ generosity,” said HIAC executive director Marcie Saquing.

She said the financial support from Ohana Fuels will enable HIAC to offer more services to its participants and their hard-working ohana who take care of them.

Kimo Haynes, president of Hawaii Petroleum, said Ohana Fuels values the exceptional work HIAC does in support of kupuna and their families.

“We are excited that HIAC will be our ‘Fuel up. Do good.’ beneficiary for the second quarter, and we vow to continue to support the community through the program in the future,” Haynes said.
