Harold Dale Goodman, 87, Hilo died June 20 in Hilo. Born in Santa Barbara, Calif., he had a payroll service, designed custom swimming pools, led a swing band in his youth and loved animals. Survived by caregiver, Marjorie Foronda of Keaau; three children, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Maika Kananialiiokamakanialohamekaua Kuamoo, 21, of Hilo died May 30 in Hilo. Born in Honolulu, he was a member of New Hope-Hilo. Celebration of life at a later date. Survived by parents, Dana W. Jude Elias Mattos, 55, of Honomu died June 10 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he served on the county police and liquor commissions and spearheaded a neighborhood watch and security services in Honomu. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel.
