The series starts with a documentary showing and short videos followed by getting participants’ hands directly in clay. The focus will be on gaining control of this method, culminating in a barrel firing fueled by wood chips.

This technique is a great introduction to working with clay for those with no previous experience as well as an exciting opportunity for those with experience to learn something entirely new.

Open studio time will be available to registered students from 2-5 p.m. Wednesdays.
