The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Family History Center is hosting a free genealogy conference from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Hilo Stake, 1373 Kilauea Ave.

The conference is open to the public and a light lunch will be provided.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

Keynote speaker Skye Ishibashi, Stake Young Men president, will present this year’s theme.

The following is the list of workshops and presenters:

• Story Telling of Waipi‘o Valley, Ku Kahakalau.

• TOKO: Gannenmono in Kohala, G. Sanchez, A. Yamamoto.

• Finding Genealogy Records via Digital Microfilm, Dianne Easley.

• JoY of Finding Relatives through DNA Testing, Aaron Auna.

• Genealogy on Social Media, Jacelyn Auna.

• Preparation Before Finding Your Birth Parents & Family, Edith Kauai.

• Hands-on Research & Temple Ready, Wanda Cardines & Consultants.

• Hawaiian Culture & Traditions in Search of Genealogy, Nicole Lui.
