Stoney Dean Aiona Aka, 56, of Pahoa died May 23 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was an iron worker. Celebration of life 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Cody’s hale in Pahoa. Michael Leroy Booth, 61, of Waimea died April 30 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Great Bend, Kan., he was a drill rig roughneck. Walter Kenichi Ita, 85, of Ookala died May 8 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hakalau, he was a retired diesel mechanic for the former Hamakua Sugar Co. Patrick Hiroshi “Paka” Oguma Sr., 67, of Keaau died Feb. 7 at Hilo Medical Center. He was a shipfitter for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and solo musician.
