The Hawaii Police Department’s Puna Community Policing Section invites you to join them for “Coffee with a Cop” from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at Eagle’s Lighthouse Cafe in Volcano village.

Coffee with a Cop encourages community members to sit down and “talk story” with their police officers over a cup of coffee, to foster better relationships and for the community to get to know their officers.

This casual event has no agenda and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories, to discussing neighborhood issues.

Eagle’s Lighthouse Cafe is at 19-4005 Haunani Road in Volcano.

Call Community Policing Officer Jeremy Kubojiri at 965-2716 for more information.
