Create your own customized stained glass light catcher and learn how to apply various embellishments to your piece during “Stained Glass Basics II: Baubles, Bevels and other Embellishments,” taught by Claudia McCall, from 9 a.m.-noon June 8-9 and 15-16 at Volcano Art Center.

McCall will provide several patterns from which to choose, though students are welcome to bring their own ideas. Topics covered include pattern design and project help. The finished project will include some type of fun additional embellishments such as slices of agate, bevels and nuggets. Students will complete this four-session workshop with a finished stained glass project.

Cost to attend is $100, or $90 for VAC members, plus a $30 supply fee. Anyone with prior copper foil stained glass experience is welcome to enroll.

Attendees are asked to wear long pants, snug-fitting gloves, covered shoes and safety glasses. Bring a glass cutter and soldering iron if you have them.

Advance registration is required, and this workshop is limited to six adults. To register, call Volcano Art Center at 967-8222 or visit www.volcanoartcenter.org.
