Delfey Mae Carvalho Gordon, 73, of Cleveland, Miss., formerly of Hilo, died May 16 at home. She was born in Honolulu. Visitation 3-4 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, Miss. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Survived by husband, Raymond Gordon; daughter, Lisa Lipe of Boyle, Miss.; mother, Roseline Victorine of Hilo; siblings, Ernest Carvalho Jr. of Nevada, Clyde Victorine of Mississippi, Rodney Victorine of California and Elsie Yim of Hawaii; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Juliana Ramoran Galapon, 86, of Keaau died April 27 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Luna, Isabela, Philippines, she was a former nursery worker. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire. Clara Hanako Ichiriu, 90, of Keaau died May 8 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired salesperson and member of Kurtistown Jodo Mission. Private services held. Helen Kalolina Kamalii, 76, of Hilo died May 6 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Naalehu, she was a homemaker and member of Zion’s House of Praise Holiness Church. George Kauhaku Mundon, 63, of Kauai, formerly of Panaewa, died April 30 at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. Nonaina “Sonny” Hoapili Makahi, 83, of Waikoloa died May 11 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired van driver for Roberts Hawaii, worked for the former Hyatt Regency Waikoloa and Hapuna Beach Prince hotel and member of Waikoloa Seniors Group, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Waikoloa Ward and worked in the Laie and Kona LDS temples.
