A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck Saturday in West Hawaii.

The temblor occurred at 5:09 p.m. near Hualalai at a depth of about 10 miles.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter was about 12 miles east of Kalaoa.

No tsunami was expected.
