Born in Hilo, he was a retired Oahu Community Correctional Center adult corrections officer and Seventh-day Adventist Church deacon. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 27) at Hilo Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 9-10 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 28) at the same church. Marion Michiko Lagapa, 80, of Kealakekua died Sept. 10 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Papaikou, she was a supervisor for the former Kona Krafts and primary caregiver for the disabled, respite caregiver and coffee farmer. Memorial service 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona. Casual attire; flowers welcome.
