Arillia Ann Ching, 78, of Kailua-Kona died Jan 8 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Wichita County, Texas, she was a bookkeeper for Parker Ranch. Private services at a later date. Nira K.C. Kurihara, 85, of Hilo died Jan. 11 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Ookala, she was the retired owner of the former Sun Sun Lau restaurant and member of New Hope Hilo, Chinese Civic Association and Hawaii Island Adult Care.
