Aaron David Bandy, 82, of Kurtistown died Dec. 5 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Francis, Okla., he was a retired high school teacher in San Jose, Calif. No services. Survived by a brother and two sisters. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Danielle Taty’ana Maile Samson-Cabral, 18, of Hilo died Sept. 24 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born she was a former student at Hilo High School and member of New Hope-Hilo. Aquilino C. Corpuz, 88, of Keaau died Nov. 17 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Laoag City, Philippines, he was a retired macadamia nut and coffee picker. Tadashi Imaino, 91, of Hilo died Nov. 18 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired state carpenter foreman, worked at Jas. W. Glover, was a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Hoyukai Softball League, Kaumana 1 Mile Kumiai, U.S. Air Force and Army World War II veteran and throw-net fisherman. Private services held. Masao “Kobe” Kobayashi, 99, of Kalaoa, Papaikou, died Dec. 1, 2018 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kalaoa, he was a retired mechanic and car salesman for the former Hilo Motors and member of Papaikou Hongwanji Mission, East Hawaii Hiroshima Kenjin Kai, Double 9 Golf Club and Kalaoa Kumiai. Hisae Motoyama, 96, of Waimea, formerly of Hilo, died Oct. 10 at a private care home. Born in Hilo, she was a retired office clerk for Theo H. Davies and member of Hilo Meishoin Mission.
