Police seek info on large-scale Kona farm burglary

Police are investigating a large-scale commercial burglary which occurred either Nov. 22 or 23 at Kona Queens Hawaii Farm in Captain Cook.

Suspects forcibly entered a building and stole two white Dodge Ram 5500 flatbed trucks, four Stihl brand weed whackers, three Stihl brand chain saws and 200 gallons of diesel fuel police said.

The value of the pilfered items is estimated at $150,000.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
