Sonja Shigemi Allen, 71, of Hakalau died Nov. 23 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, she was retired. No services. Survived by husband, Bruce Allen of Hakalau; daughter, Brandy Allen of Hilo; sons, Brandon (Alyssa Fukuchi) Allen of Oahu, Blake (Ronnie) Allen of Hilo and Blesson (Asia Olsen) Allen of Mountain View; brother, George (Diane) Imose of Honolulu; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. Jacinto “Joe” Ignacio Jr., 60, of Waimea died Nov. 14 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Honokaa, he was a machine operator for Kamuela Vacuum Cooling and driver for Kamuela Trucking Co. Visitation 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 1) at St. James Episcopal Church in Waimea. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Glenn Evan Miller, 41, of Mountain View died Nov. 1 at Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Portland, Ore. Harry Yukio Morita, 95, of Waimea died Nov. 2 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was owner of H Morita Farm, a U.S. Army veteran and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Kyodan, Kamuela Civic Club and various farmers’ organizations. Private services held.
