Police have identified the 23-year-old woman killed in a crash between a van and a gas tanker truck Wednesday morning on the Daniel K. Inouye Highway, also known as Saddle Road near the 21-mile marker as Keslyn E. Tulensru of Hilo.
Her death was the 28 traffic fatality this year compared to 30 at this time last year.
Police ask anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about the crash to call Officer Erhard Autrata at 961-2339 or email: Erhard.Aurata@hawaiicounty.gov.
