Titus Kivin Kalauli, 63, of Hilo died Oct. 24 at home. He was a musician and Air Force veteran. Oahu celebration of life noon-5 p.m. Monday (Nov. 26) at Bayview Golf Course Banquet Hall, 45-285 Kaneohe Bay Drive in Kaneohe. Hilo celebration of life 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Rodney and Pearl Haili’s Tent on Noeau Street in Panaewa Hawaiian Homes. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by siblings, Alika (Germaine) Kalauli III of Honolulu, Revelation (Georgiann) Kalauli, Patlynn Elizabeth (Llewellyn Sr.) Kaui, Brian Keith (Namahana) Kalauli, Lamentation (Alohi) Kalauli, Psalms Danny Thomas “Bull” (Kehaulani) Kalauli and John Chesebro of Hilo; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Alice Lopez Martin, 80, of Hilo died Nov. 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Lanai City, Lanai, she was a retired sales clerk for the former F.W. Woolworth and a homemaker. Celebration of life at a later date. Survived by husband, James “Kimo” Martin of Hilo; sons, Rod (Jeff) Sanchez of Washington, Randy (Michelle) Sanchez and Rocky (Lorna) Sanchez of Oahu, Ricky Sanchez of Lanai City, James Martin of Texas and Lance (Kari) Martin of Hilo; daughters, Cheryl (Cameron) Kaapana of California and Aleka (Howard) Martin of South Dakota; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Thomas Edward Lawrence, 71, of Kapoho, died July 21 in Honokaa. Born in Evanston, Ill., he was a teacher, Peace Corps volunteer, mango farmer and nature lover. Celebration of life held. Survived by daughter, Oma (Brad) Knox; brothers Jimmy and Jerry Lawrence, their families; a grandson. Arrangements by Cremation Services of West Hawaii.
