Alice Lopez Martin, 80, of Hilo died Nov. 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Lanai City, Lanai, she was a retired sales clerk for the former F.W. Woolworth and a homemaker. Thomas Edward Lawrence, 71, of Kapoho, died July 21 in Honokaa. Born in Evanston, Ill., he was a teacher, Peace Corps volunteer, mango farmer and nature lover. Celebration of life held.
