Laura Satsuki Muneno, 93, of Honomu died Nov. 5 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Pepeekeo, she was the previous owner of Jan’s Store in Honomu and a retired district manager for Aflac Insurance Co., volunteer for RSVP and member of Hilo Coast United Church of Christ. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 20) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. The late Francisca Ver Pasamonte is survived by, among others, step-granddaughter and caregiver Patricia Pasamonte (Al) Enoka of Papaikou. Her relationship to the deceased was incorrectly submitted for an obituary published Saturday.
