Rose Audrey Kailiahi Kamakea Anderson, 80, of Waimea died Oct. 7 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired custodian supervisor at Waimea Elementary and Intermediate School, waitress at the former Edelweiss restaurant, housekeeper at the Ilikai and Mauna Kea Beach hotels, member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Waimea 2nd Ward and Waimea Red Hat Society. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 17) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waimea. Memorial service at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by daughter, Kaiulani Cindy Anderson Kanoa of Springville, Utah; son, Andy Keola Anderson of Waimea; brother, Leroy (Barbara) Paahao of Honolulu; 11 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews. Walter Baoy, 77, of Honaunau died Nov. 2 at home. Born in Kohala, he was a mason and backhoe operator. Private services. Phyllis Hoge, 91, of Albuquerque, N.M., died Aug. 26 in Albuquerque. She was born in Elizabeth, N.J. Service at 10 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 18) at Neighborhood Place of Puna, 16-105 Opukahaia St. in Keaau. Survived by daughter, Katherine Roseguo of Keaau.

Brad “Da Hawaiian” Keanuenueonalani Kahele, 38, of Hilo died Oct. 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a mason and carpenter and member of Living Waters Assembly of God. Hatsuno “Hatchan” Kodani, 102, of Hilo died Oct. 15 at a care home in Hilo.
