Paul Leland Breese, 96, of Kapaau died Oct. 18 in Kapaau. Born in Minneapolis, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked as a zoological consultant and Honolulu Zoo director. Burr McQuade Cox, 72, of Keaau died Oct. 4 at The Queens Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Pasadena, Calif, he attended Carmel High School, was a family and sports photographer, active in Sure Foundation Puna and also enjoyed surfing, music and riding his Harley Davidson. Joseph “Joe” Richard Green, 79, of North Kohala died Oct. 19 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Weiser, Idaho, he was a retired systems engineer for Sony Corporation in California. Irene Yoneko Kanetake, 96, of Kailua, Oahu, died Sept. 17 in Kailua. Born in Hakalau, she was a retired real estate broker, founding member of Kailua Christian Church and past president of the Nuuanu YMCA Thursday Luncheon and Hui O Lau Lima.
