Elizabeth C. Hodgson “Betty” Armitage, 94, of Ahualoa died Oct. 10 at home. She was born in St. Petersburg, Fla. No memorial service planned. Joseph “Joe” Michael Bussing, 66, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 12 at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Johnson County, Ind., he was a fisherman, scuba diver and a former mechanical engineer for Shell Oil Co. Private service held. Survived by wife, Nina Jandakhot of Kailua-Kona; son, Matthew Bussing of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Lorinda Davison and Lonnette Sellers of Texas and Lori (Matt) Kelley of Indiana; brother, Gene (Christine) Bradbury of Indiana; nieces and nephews.
