The University of Hawaii wants to revise its proposed administrative rules for Maunakea after receiving public feedback.

The UH administration is asking the UH Board of Regents to approve a request to revise certain provisions in the draft proposal. That would allow for another round of public hearings.

The regents will consider the request Thursday at the UH-Manoa campus.

The university didn’t say what it wants to revise.

Nearly 500 people provided verbal or written submissions on the proposal that would affect public and commercial activities.
