Pahoa drivers are advised to be prepared for delays throughout next week as the Department of Public Works upgrades streetlights in Pahoa.
From Monday to Friday, workers from the Department of Public Works Traffic Division will upgrade the LED streetlights on Pahoa Village Road between Kahakai Blvd. and Pahoa High School. While traveling both ways through the work area will be possible, intermittent lane closures are to be expected.
Work will be conducted between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.
