Hilo airport hosting Bahrain sheikh’s plane

Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain parked his Boeing 747 at Hilo International Airport this week.

Son of the king of Bahrain and commander of the Royal Guard, the sheikh will join his Bahrain endurance athletes in this year’s Ironman Triathlon held in Kona on Oct. 13.

The sheikh, 31, has been actively involved in promoting endurance sports in the Bahrain and is president of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
