A 30-year-old woman was transported to Hilo Medical Center on Friday after an ocean rescue near Hawaiian Paradise Park.
According to the Fire Department, the woman was receiving CPR from a bystander when rescue personnel arrived. While on scene, another two free divers were rescued with a Billy Pugh net after being unable to make it to shore.
They declined medical treatment.
The cause was listed as high surf and a strong current.
