Job seekers are invited to attend a job fair and job readiness workshop, sponsored by the American Job Center Hawaii.
The job readiness workshop assists participants with preparing for the job fair by offering guidance on resume writing, interviewing skills, properly completing an application and instruction on dressing for success. The workshop is slated for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 16 at Aunty Sally’s Luau Hale, 799 Piilani St. in Hilo
The job fair will include businesses from around the island seeking employees to fill vacancies. Participants should come prepared with resumes and in professional attire, as interviews might be done on site. The job fair is scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 25 at Edith Kanakaole Multi-Purpose Stadium, 350 Kalanikoa St. in Hilo.
