North Hawaii Community Hospital names new ambulatory services director

Janet Crosier was selected as North Hawaii Community Hospital’s director of ambulatory services.

Crosier previously was manager of rehabilitation services and cardiopulmonary services and most recently served as interim director of ambulatory services. Prior to her arrival at NHCH in 2014, Crosier was director of physical therapist assistant services at the American Physical Therapy Association in Alexandria, Va. She also served as director and assistant professor at University of Pittsburgh in the physical therapist assistant program and was director of rehabilitation services in various medical center and private practice locations.

Crosier has a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, master’s degrees in physical therapy and science education from the University of Pittsburgh and a clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital, Institute of Health Professions.

In her new role, Crosier is responsible for ambulatory clinics including Primary Care, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Women’s Health, Cardiology and the Cancer Center, in addition to rehabilitation services and cardiopulmonary services.
