No injuries were reported Monday morning after a house fire in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

According to a Hawaii Fire Department news release, a fire at a two-story residence at the corner of Paradise Drive and Beach Road was reported at 9:05 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find the residence’s garage engulfed in flames. Responders extinguished the blaze by 9:26 a.m.

No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

According to the news release, the residence sustained fire and smoke damage in downstairs rooms, with some smoke damage in upper rooms, but was saved from significant structural damage. The fire caused an estimated $40,000 in damage.

The fire’s cause is undetermined and remains under investigation.
